A special night at the ballpark
Join the Bismarck Larks at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark · First pitch 6:05 PM. Come early for dinner. Free for families displaced by disaster — pick up tickets at the relief center (Storage Kings Unit #4).
Heads up: thanks to an overwhelming community response, we’ve temporarily suspended drop-offs of clothing, furniture, and household items. Money still helps — and so does that gift card sitting in your wallet or purse from a Christmas three years ago. Everything counts.

Donate
Every dollar puts a roof over a family.
100% of donor-pool contributions go to displaced households. Lions volunteers cover overhead. Each donation is tracked and reported back — you’ll see what it bought, on which day, for which household.
Donate through trusted nonprofit partners
ND Lions Emergency Relief is a volunteer-led response effort. Financial donations are received through established 501(c)(3) partners, including the North Dakota Community Foundation, and directed toward families impacted by disaster.
Your donation may help with hotel stays, clothing, groceries, transportation, medication, child care, replacement documents, and other urgent needs that arise after a fire or disaster.

Two segregated funds
We keep two pools separately: insurance reimbursements (from carriers covering displaced households) and donor dollars (from people and organizations like you). The donor pool funds the things insurance doesn’t — childcare, transportation, immediate clothing, the gap nights before a hotel voucher kicks in. It’s the most impactful place to give.
Where your money actually goes
~$130 / night
Hotel placement so a displaced family doesn’t spend night one in a car or shelter.
~$120 / person
Clothing set — shoes, basics, a coat — replaced within 48 hours of intake.
~$200 / week
Groceries for a family of four while their kitchen is gone.
ND Lions Emergency Relief is a volunteer-led response effort. Financial donations are processed by the North Dakota Community Foundation, an established 501(c)(3). NDCF issues tax receipts directly and gifts may be tax-deductible through their organization.
